Log into Github, then navigate to the Personal Access Tokens management page. If you use Github in the cloud, you can go directly to https://github.com/settings/tokens. If you use an Enterprise on-premise hosted copy of Github, follow steps #1 through #4 at Creating a Token. Click “Generate New Token”. You may be prompted to enter your Github account password on the next page.

On the page titled “New personal access token” you will be prompted to name the access token and select the rights the token has in your Github account. For Nucleaus, please select the top level “repo” rights scope (this automatically selects all rights directly beneath that as well).

After clicking “Generate token”, you will be directed back to the page listing the Personal Access Tokens for your account. You will be shown the newly created token here, and as the page says you must copy it now. The token is only shown to you once. Copy it to a safe place. This is the “password” you will enter for your Nucleaus credentials for use with Github.
